He was (and still is) my first hero..
Someone I looked upon to, whose shoulders I felt comfort on and whose words gave all the wisdom of the world…

He was always there for me.
For I, was daddy’s little girl..

If I ever look back at my life, and search for a turning point, the one that flashes right in front is the strength that I gained by the power of his simple words.
Indeed how well did it turn my life around….

A man of integrity and faith, he exemplified a life of love and caring, of independence, dependence and interdependence.

You are in a better place now. Happy, Absolutely!
I celebrate your life, even though you are not around to celebrate it with.
I hear your words, when I falter in my path.
The strength I gain then, will make mountains move.
Be my guiding light, as you have always been..
I know you will remain,
For ever and ever…

Celebrating the lives of the many men, who make girls (and boys) around, feel just the way I do, about my father…..

Happy Father’s Day!!!
To my father,
To the father of my children, and to his father (who’s celebrating his birthday today)
and to many many fathers around……
