Postcard on Peace, from the Land of Coconut Trees

A postcard on peace from God’s Own Country…

Remembering the victims of 9/11 today. It was around this time (8am CST), that I heard the news. I still remember where I was when I heard it on the local radio station,KRLD… @ the intersection of Coit & Frankford, Richardson, Texas!! The shock, the tears that filled my eyes as I watched it later, repeatedly on the TV…. The faces, the feelings… how could we ever forget those?

I hope this world would be a peaceful place, one in which people will help each other, where peace prevails and no war exists…One where everyone can take a moment to enjoy the beauty around, just like the one above, without worries or fear. A world where everyone is equal and no religious fanatics or terrorists remain. But more importantly, I hope the world would be filled with people who know the meaning of forgiveness, and will never tolerate the feeling of hatred.
